Pakenham Childcare, Daycare & Kindergarten

I am proud to lead a brilliant, dedicated, and long-standing team. With a balance of structured and play-based learning, children are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence and develop independence. This approach helps lay the foundation for a smooth transition into four-year-old kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning.
Bethlehem Preschool and Kindergarten Woongoolba has created weekly learning kits, with activities, books, games, science kits, puzzles, art supplies, and curiosity kits. These kits are updated weekly and the service even offers delivery services to ensure equity of access. Bumblebee Early Education Centre Goonellabah has been posting videos for parents and children daycare centre near pakenham on its parent portal to extend learning opportunities for those at home.

We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack freshly made daily. Our families provide feedback on our centre menu and we create the menu around their voices. We also incorporate our families’ own recipes into our centre menu.
Choosing the right service can be an exciting time for you and your child. Learn about the types of early education and care services here. YMCA Pakenham has shown us nothing but warmth since my daughters started here. I feel safe have my child here and they feel it as their second home which is shown on drop offs when my daughter reaches out for her educators and yells out their names. Cant fault the love and care the educators have shown my daughter.
It is our continued mission and vision to provide an educational, 'home away from home' nurturing environment for all children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. My daughter attends 4yo kinder at lakeside the staff are wonderful very caring she absolutely loves her time there. Any issues that I've had have been dealt with professionally and in a timely manner that staff really go above and beyond. We rigorously follow the child-safe standards set out by the Victorian Government. These standards guide us to drive a child safe culture, provide appropriate strategies and actions to put the interests of children first, keeping them safe from harm. We are committed to involving families and communities in our efforts to keep children safe.

Our child day care facility offers a variety of education programs for toddler and pre-school kids that will meet the academic and developmental needs of your child. We personalize your early education programs that would stimulate the physical, intellectual, creative and social development of the children whilst preparing them for big school. The Little Chef Program at Inspire Early Learning Journey Pakenham provides children with hands-on cooking experiences that build independence, coordination, and confidence. Through food preparation, measuring, mixing, and tasting, children develop practical life skills while learning about nutrition, hygiene, and safety.

Our passionate and caring team consists of early childhood teachers, lead educators, and educators who create a warm and supportive learning environment. Among them is Lisa, our beloved Educational Leader and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). I'm beyond impressed with the level of care and attention provided. My daughter started in the Toddler 1 room and settled in beautifully—she genuinely looks forward to going every day. I couldn't be more satisfied and would wholeheartedly recommend this centre to any parent seeking exceptional care.

While participating in carpentry, Daniela is learning to problem solve, experiment and predict. Our centre chef prepares and cooks nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. Before Charlotte sits down for lunch with her friends and educators, Charlotte takes part in the centre’s sports program. Sports helps Charlotte improve her flexibility and strength (perfect for growing bodies!). Charlotte is almost five years old and can’t wait for today’s carpentry experience - she loves building things! Carpentry experiences allow Charlotte and her friends to extend their learning through real-life experiences.
All educators Kiran, Manpreet, Niroshi and Kamal are so caring. Gayanee and Harpeet( Chef) greets me every morning with smile . The light, bright and colourful interiors are carefully designed for safe, comfortable and sensory learning. With a rich array of educational resources, children have ample opportunity to follow their interests. Educators support holistic development with a fun mix of programs including literacy, art and music. My daughters had been going there since they were 2.5 years and 6 months old.
We support and celebrate diversity of race, culture, ability, gender, sexuality, and gender identity. Absolutely, all our kindergarten teachers have a Bachelor of Education. The Victorian Government provides Free Kinder funding to our ELC, not directly to families. This means that Free Kinder will be credited on your invoice and you won't be out of pocket. Special events are planned throughout the year, which take place both inside and outside the centre. These include seasonal parties, special guests, field trips, and events that celebrate cultures from around the world.

Children in our toddler space are encouraged to participate in group play. Group play is important as it helps our toddlers develop important social skills such as, turn-taking, developing self-confidence and emotional self-regulation. Our skilled team helps children through talking, planning and role modelling. Our teachers and educators encourage the children to learn through play to help enhance their sensory-motor development.
