Pakenham Early Learning Childcare & Kindergarten

Pakenham Early Learning Childcare & Kindergarten

Under the Best Start, Best Life reforms, the Victorian Government provides funding to make kindergarten free or low-cost. Different subsidies may also apply to the kindergarten or preschool programs, depending on the state you live in. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Community Kids is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children. If you have an infant, we spend one-on-one time with them to establish a connection. We use songs, games, and conversations to strengthen relationships and build language skills.
We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack freshly made daily. Our families provide feedback on our centre menu and we create the menu around their voices. It is our continued mission and vision to provide an educational, learning and home away from home nurturing environment for all children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. As active citizens, children engage with their community through intergenerational programs, online and community safety, and school connections. Our Story House curriculum fosters care for others and strong local ties, helping children feel confident, connected, and excited for their next step – transitioning to school with a sense of belonging and pakenham early learning centre readiness.

As a first-time parent, I can confidently say that my child is in safe hand! I am incredibly passionate about fostering growth, wellbeing, and confidence during these formative years. I believe that for a child to excel, they must first feel celebrated for who they are. To achieve this, I place immense value on building strong, transparent relationships with our families. You are your child’s first teacher, and I view our role as a partnership—working hand-in-hand to support your child’s unique journey.
We ensure families feel informed, involved, and confident in their child’s early learning journey. Our Physical Education Program at Inspire Pakenham supports children’s physical development, coordination, and overall wellbeing through purposeful movement and active play. Children engage in age-appropriate physical experiences that build strength, balance, body awareness, and confidence. Aligned with Montessori philosophy and national frameworks, the program promotes healthy habits, resilience, and a positive relationship with physical activity from an early age. Through rich conversations, storytelling, phonetic awareness, and intentional educator guidance, children build vocabulary, comprehension, and expressive language skills. Aligned with EYLF v2.0, VEYLDF, and the National Quality Standard, the program nurtures language as a foundation for connection, learning, and success.
Children enjoy enrichment programs, including weekly Active8 Health and Fitness incursions for all age groups. Children can explore our spacious outdoor environments featuring a bike track, vegetable garden, climbing equipment, and a sandpit. Our undercover outdoor play areas allow active play and discovery in different weather conditions. We focus on variety, balance and whole foods with each meal containing vegetables, fruit, whole grains, lean proteins and dairy.

First, find your local centre and book a tour so you can meet the team and explore the learning environment. If the centre is the right fit and a place is  available, you’ll receive an enrolment offer for your child. If a place is not currently available in your child’s age group, we can add your child to the waitlist and keep you updated. Play-based learning experiences are provided for older children who no longer don’t sleep in centre.

The centre operates an AustSwim-accredited swimming program, with children receiving weekly swimming lessons as part of their regular program, at no extra cost.
